WHY THE DICTIONARY MATTERS
Rhade—called Êđê by its speakers—carries family relationships, place knowledge, oral memory, and everyday ways of understanding the world. When words become hard to find, more than vocabulary can drift out of reach.
The Rhade Dictionary gives speakers, families, learners, and researchers a shared place to search spelling, meaning, grammar, compounds, usage, and word history. It helps people reconnect without reducing a living language to a simple translation list.
THE WORK AHEAD
A digital dictionary must be checked, expanded, backed up, and made useful to real people. Contributions help the project move from archival access toward a durable, speaker-informed resource.
